(A)  Life Protection $50,000

Life Protection provides a lump sum cash payment of $50,000 in the event of an employee’s death. It also includes a Terminal Illness Benefit, so if one of your employees is diagnosed with a terminal illness and has 12 months or less to live, their Life Protection amount may be paid out immediately.

(B)   Trauma Protection $10,000

Trauma Protection provides a one-off lump sum cash payment of $10,000 to your employees if they suffer one of the 23 specified major health conditions.

(C)  Income Protection $2,000 per month (max)

Income Protection provides your employees with a regular income, if sickness or injury prevents them from earning one. The Income Protection component of this package provides a monthly benefit of 75% of salary, up to $2,000 per month, for two years with an eight week waiting period.

Income Protection can help you manage extended sick leave when the employee’s sick leave runs out.  Income Protection also offers a Partial Disablement Benefit for an employee who has been disabled and is returning to work in a reduced capacity; and a Recurrent Disability Benefit when an employee returns to work and the same injury or sickness reoccurs.
